Request a RMA number All return and repair services require a valid RMA number; it will be valid for 10 days after issuance. When sending an item back for repair, please do not ship back the accessories (cable, CPU, manual!K.) unless they are related to the problem. The RMA number must be marked on the out side of the shipping box (not the product carton box). Any unauthorized return will be rejected. For your convenience, you can submit RMA request online or download our RMA request form.
DOA Return DOA (dead on arrival) parts must be sent back within 10 days of receipt along with its original contents and packaging. Products which are incomplete or show signs of abuse or misuse will not be accepted or credited. If a cross shipment is required, we will invoice the replacement first and then credit back your account after our engineers verify the cause.
Return for Credit No credit will be issued after 30 days from the date of invoice. There will be a charge of items missing from the original package. Products that are returned incomplete or show signs of abuse or misuse will not be accepted or credited. A restocking fee of 15% for items purchased from Aaeon Electronics, Inc. and 25% for items purchase from Aaeon Systems, Inc. will be applied with the exception of evaluation units. If the product was purchased from an AAEON reseller, please contact the reseller for any credit issue.
Shipping Costs The customer is responsible for all incoming shipment costs, and we assume the outbound shipping costs back to the customer. All replacement/repaired products are shipped UPS Ground or equivalent method. If a rush shipment is requested, the cost of shipment upgrade must be paid by the customer or by using customer!|s freight account number. For your protection, please use a traceable means of shipment and keep tracking numbers. Customers will be liable for loss or damages caused by their shipping carrier.
Repair and Restocking Charge A repair charge will be issued for out of warranty items or damage resulting for improper use or mishandling. The charge will be based on the total labor spent plus parts, with a minimum charge of $50 for items purchased from Aaeon Electronics, Inc. and $70 for items purchase from Aaeon Systems, Inc. Returns for credit are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of evaluation units No credit will be issued after 30 days from the date of invoice. Customer is also subject to a charge for items missing from the original package.
Peripheral Parts From 3rd Party Manufacturer All the computer peripheral parts that are not manufactured, but assembled by AAEON (which include, but not limited to internal parts such as CPUs, Fans, Memory, Hard Drives, Disk on Chip, CD ROMs, software, cables, Wi-Fi cards and floppy drives, unless specifically stated otherwise) are not returnable and carry an implied, 2 year warranty against defects due to manufacturing or failure. Warranty does not include improper use by user.
Warranty Effective January 1, 2009, both Aaeon Systems, Inc. and Aaeon Electronics, Inc., products come with a warranty against defect or failure for a period of 2 years from the date of shipment. Proof of purchase may be required to determine warranty eligibility. During the warranty period, AAEON will repair or replace all defective products that are returned in accordance with AAEON’s stated RMA policy. AAEON will have sole discretion in determining whether a product will be repaired or replaced. Where the original product cannot be repaired and replacement is no longer available due to EOL (End Of Life) AAEON will work with the Customer to determine a suitable replacement. A suitable replacement is defined as a product having similar features at a price that is comparable to that which is to be replaced. OEM/ODM products come with a 1 year warranty unless overridden by OEM/ODM agreements.
Warranty Forfeiture Warranty is not granted if a product is received without original invoice. Warranty is void if serial tags, receiving numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is void if mishandling, improper use, or defacing of the product that would normally void manufacturer's warranty has occurred. Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned for RMA purposes are not granted warranty coverage.
